Changes to my Double Page Spread

I have made a few changes to my double page spread including correcting the typo in the pull out quote and adding credit for the writer and photographer who's names i have made up. I have also made the text smaller so it is now font size 9 and i have added more questions to make the interview longer and more in depth, as a response to my feedback.
I have also changed the font of my title and i have removed the quote that was underneath as it looked too busy. I debated making the subtitle smaller however, i feel that a title on it's own is bold and stands out more. Also, because she is an established artist i didn't feel like i had to write anything cheesy such as "Hazel Grace reveals all" as her interview would explain everything. I have used the same font as the one used for my page number to keep the themes and styles consistent throughout the magazine.

Changes to my Contents Page

Since receiving my feedback i have redesigned my contents page as i found it did not tie in with the cover, and the three components i created did not look like they were from the same magazine.
I have created a simple, classic contents page to match the front cover. I have used the same font for the title 'In this issue' as the font for the cover lines on the front cover to make them look like they belong to the same magazine. I have also added the 'State - February' line to the page number at the bottom; i have also done this on my double page spread to tie the three in.
I've used a different image of Hazel Grace in the contents to add some variation to the photos used, as in a professional photo shoot a few different outfits are used to create different looks.  I've included another image of another artist to show more content of the magazine, and I've included information about bands and artists mentioned on the front.
I prefer the layout of this to my original contents page as the columns of text are easier to read and more content has been added so the reader can find out extra details about articles and features in the magazine.
Mr Ford advised making the background white to make it more conventional and professional to suit the theme of my magazine, and by doing so i feel it gives it a more classical look and i prefer it, as the old one didn't look like something you would find on the shelf, and it wasn't unconventional in the right way.
I chose to keep the title 'In this issue' as most magazines use the word 'contents' or just re-use the magazine's title. I don't think having a catchy title or using a play on words would have benefited my magazine as it would have made it more jokey and not as serious and high-end.

Changes to my front cover

I have made a few changes to my front cover based on the feedback i received from my peers and teachers.
I have removed the 'In this Issue' and 'Win tickets to see Three Blind Mice' from the cover as feedback told me they didn't fit with the style of magazine i am going for.
I think the decision to remove them is the right one, due to the fact 'In this issue' is stating the obvious, as if bands are written on the front cover it is clear they will be inside the magazine. Also, i don't feel i have to entice the reader into buying the magazine with 'free' things or competitions, as i have set it up so the cover star - Hazel Grace - will make people want to read it as she is well known and a respected artist people would want to read about.
I have chosen to stick with the simple layout i originally decided on as it links to the high-end, more professional market i am pitching the magazine at, as well as the price of it and the audience. Even though the design is somewhat unconventional due to the small amounts of text, it still adheres to the rule of thirds and is eye-catching. I have made the bar code smaller and less obvious too, as i was told it was too distracting and took the focus away from the image of my model.
I need to cut out the image of Hazel Grace again as her hair was too jagged and it wasn't professional enough, but i will place it in the same position so it overlaps the title 'State'
